Acupuncture
Practitioner: Mei Deng
Acupuncture is an ancient system of healing that was developed as part of the traditional medicine of China, Japan and other Eastern countries.
Acupuncture works on stimulating specific points within the body (acupoints) using techniques such as needling, cupping or moxibustion to rebalance the flow of energy (qi) through the body's energy channels (meridians). Qi is said to circulate around the body via 14 meridians and there are thousands of acupoints located along the different meridians, all of which are associated with specific organs.
An acupuncturist works on the principle that ill health is the result of unbalanced or blocked qi within various parts of the body and by restoring the flow of qi, the body can heal itself. Scientific studies have proven acupuncture to be effective in treating many disorders.
Ayurvedic Consultation
Practitioner: Sindar Kaur
The ancient Indian system of mind-body medicine that aims to re-establish the body's natural balance by restoring and preserving physical, emotional and spiritual health.
Ayurdevic medicine incorporates elements of herbal medicine, meditation, yoga, massage and nutrition and is based on the theory of balancing an underlying life energy (prana) which circulates through the energy centres of the body (marmas).
Ayurvedic medicine uses a body constitution-based model to determine the state of health of an individual by categorising them into one of the three fundamental mind/body types; vata, pitta or kapha. It is a holistic system of medicine that aims to rebalance the body according to the individual's constitution, resulting in a healthy mind and body.
Chinese Herbal Medicine
Practitioner: Mei Deng
Chinese herbal medicine takes an wholistic approach to understanding normal function and disease processes and focuses as much on the prevention of illness as on the treatment.
Most diseases or illnesses present with a core set of recognisable signs and symptoms, but the actual presentation of a particular disease or illness will vary from person to person. For this reason, people with similar health conditions may be provided with quite different Chinese herbal medicine prescriptions.
A qualified practitioner is able to prescribe a Chinese herbal formula that specifically matches and treats your individual health problem. As your condition changes and improves with treatment, the Chinese herbal treatment is also adjusted and modified until the desired health outcome is achieved. Chinese herbs can treat many conditions.
Energy Healing and Balancing
Practitioners: Sindar Kaur
An energy healing treatment redresses any imbalances in the flow of our life-force within, and also offers intuitive guidance and counselling.
A healing session begins with subtle manipulation of pressures points in the head and neck, chakra balancing and hands on energy work to remove deep-seated tensions and redirect the flow of life-force at cellular level. Some practioners also use crystals.

Kinesiology
The link between the conscious and the unconscious mind can be used to identify factors that may be blocking the body’s natural healing processes. These blocks are often physically manifested in the body as trapped cellular memories and/or physical disease. Kinesiology creates deep emotional and physical healing by releasing trapped cellular memories.
Kinesiology uses muscle testing, which taps into the body’s innate wisdom.

Meditation
Practitioner: Sindar Kaur
This is a disarmingly simple method of guided meditation that induces the body to experience deep muscular relaxation, and the mind to soak into a peaceful state. In this state, the body begins to release chronic stress, pain, past hurt, trauma, fears, phobias, and heal deep psychological wounds, bringing about profound and positive health benefits.

Transpersonal Coaching
Yoga Therapy and 1 on 1 Coaching
Practitioners: Prue King | Sindar Kaur
Like private instruction, Yoga Therapy is offered on a one-to-one basis. In this case, the teacher adapts the tools of Yoga to help heal the student of a specific problem.
Where general Yoga keeps us on the steady path of wellness and regular practice provides the equanimity to cope with the stresses and various stages of life, Yoga Therapy specifically targets the root cause of affliction and aims to heal by curing or appeasing the symptoms, positively enhancing quality of life and thereby reducing suffering.
Because it is not chemical, Yoga Therapy is a complement to other systems of treatment.
