Iyengar Yoga teacher
Vim Lane is a certified Iyengar yoga teacher.
Vim has practiced and studied yoga for over 20 years. Her classes are conducted in a traditional Classical style with precise instruction to the anatomical and physiological alignment of the body in conjunction with breath awareness.
Props are used to bring a deeper understanding to the poses.
Her focus in her personal practice and her teaching is on developing inner and outer strength and exploring the calm and clarity that comes with working the body, mind and breath together.
Vim offers classes and is also available for private tuition.

LEVEL 1: Suitable for beginners. Covers foundation poses - standing poses, forward extensions & twists.
LEVEL 2: For experienced students who attend class regularly. Head & shoulder stands are a pre-requisite.
MIXED: This class welcomes students @ Level 1 who wish to extend their practice & students @ Level 2 who wish to consolidate theirs.

Winter Sunday Yoga Course
Dates: 2 July - 25 August (6 weeks)
Time: Sundays 9.30 to 11am weekly
The aim of this course is to:
- Develop a general understanding of the asana groups (poses).
- Become familiar with the names and shapes of the asanas.
- Experience the benefits & effects of these asanas.
The asanas will help to:
- Tone and stretch the gross muscles.
- Activate and stimulate the internal organs & systems.
- Improve balance and concentration.
- Relax through body/mind connection and correct breath control.
By the end of the course you'll have a sense of well-being in knowing how to bring calmness into your daily life by relaxing your body, focusing your mind and soothing the breath.
