Sindar is passionate about sharing her wealth of knowledge and depth of field experience from the yoga traditions and the healing and intuitive arts. She brings to her work two decades of dedicated practice and experience, with a masterful skill of making subtle practices, accessible and practical for personal integration. She assists people how to tap into their intrinsic wisdom and authenticity to breakthrough limiting awareness and create heroic transformations.
Sindar began her intensive training in yoga, ayurveda, buddhist and esoteric practices after leaving her corporate career in 1991 to travel and to pursue her passion of exploring the world’s greatest spiritual traditions. She studied with authentic teachers and reputed masters from India, United States, Japan, Argentina and Australia.
Sindar leads the Diploma of Yoga Teaching at Nature Care College (Sydney), and is a yoga teacher trainer and mentor at Nature Care College and Qi Natural Therapies & Yoga. She teaches weekly public yoga classes and meditation classes at Nature Care and Lotus Health. She also runs master workshops, retreats and group mentoring for ongoing professional education of yoga teachers. Sindar also served as a pro-bono yoga teacher with Art of Living Foundation (a United Nations-NGO).
In 2006, she launched the unique ‘Lifeforce in Yoga Therapy’ course which focuses on therapeutic applications of pranayama in therapy work, and became more known for her areas of expertise in pranayama, meditation and therapeutic yoga. She has presented pranayama workshops at national and international conferences in 04, 06, 07, 08, and writes a regular column for the Australian Yoga Life magazine.
As an accomplished healing practitioner, she provides one-on-one consultations. Her clients come for yoga therapy, women’s ayurveda, remedial health, chakra balancing and healing, meditation training or transpersonal coaching. Using a rare fusion of Eastern and Western wellbeing approaches, combined with gifted intuition, her method is grounded in evoking self-healing and expanding wellness rather than focussing on illness or pain as a deficit.
Sindar runs her practice in North Shore Sydney, and now also in the Southern Highlands. She commutes between the two studio-clinics and can be reached directly at: energymedicines@gmail.com or 0418 272 569
Sindar has been running the very popular Meditation Classes (Mon 7-8pm and 8-9pm) at Lotus Health since its opening. She also does one-on-one consultations (by appointment).
