Eleanor Amiradaki
Yoga teacher, Pre-natal Yoga

"Just as the future of a tree is embedded in the seed, the destiny of a child is imprinted in the womb of the mother"
Swami Satyananda
Eleanor specialises in prenatal yoga and believes, through yoga, a deep conscious connection between mother and child can begin and the confidence in ones ability to birth is affirmed. Her classes provide a safe and feminine environment where the use of asana (physical postures), breath, meditation and visualisation will assist in the relief of common discomforts associated with pregnancy and help to prepare each woman for their journey into motherhood.
Pregnancy is such a special and unique time and can present an opportunity for immense spiritual growth and the tools of yoga can help guide women through the intensity of birth to a place of deep connection and inner power.
"I encourage women to follow their innate wisdom and feminine intuition, which will ultimately guide them through the birthing experience."- Eleanor Amiradaki
Eleanor has been practicing yoga for 11 years and after completing her honors degree in Visual Communications, decided to follow her passion and complete a Diploma of Hatha Yoga. She draws on the belief that yoga is a dynamic and evolving practice that should be flexible to the needs of the individual. She has gone on to study specific modalities in pre and postnatal yoga under inspiring teachers within a range of traditions. She explores yoga creatively as a daily practice and when not teaching Eleanor enjoys being a mother to her beautiful little girl.
Eleanor teaches Pre-natal Yoga classes at Lotus Health on Mondays at 10.45am - 12pm and Thursdays at 6 - 7pm.
